I watched The Devil Wears Prada for the umpteenth time yesterday, and I've become slightly obsessed with searching for the pink tulle dress that is featured in one of the memorable scenes from the movie. It is more of a prop than a costume, as none of the characters actually wear the dress. (It's during the scene where Streep puts the smack down on Andy and her "cerulean sweater." Andy instigates said smack down when she laughs at the turquoise belts "because they look exactly the same to [her].") Does anyone have a clue as to who made the ballerina dress?? They don't mention a designer in the film!
I hope someone out there has the answer to this question, because it's driving me crazy!!
As you probably noticed it is quite difficult to obtain info on a prop piece, even more difficult than finding info on a key wardrobe item. Our shoppers have a few inspired designs they thought may get you close -of course you have to supply the belt :)
Oh, thanks! It has been VERY difficult... Plus the movie came out a while ago, so most of the information about it isn't quite up-to-date. Thanks for looking!
