In the Devil Wears Prada film Miranda's (Meryl Streep) red and black coat in this scene is by Izzy Camilleri. The red dyed silver fox full length coat cost $30,000 (USD) when the movie released..wonder what its worth now?
Meryl wore the red coat with a black cashmere dress from Ralph Lauren and black suede boots from Christian Louboutin. The silver and purple embossed purse, which she wore with the red and black coat and black suede boots, was from Gucci.

The clothing in this outfit featured a black boat neck top by David Rodriguez worn over a white shirt from Miu Miu. The costume was completed with Anne Hathaway wearing a Chanel newsboy cap and that famous Chanel Parisian Charm necklace and two strands of white pearls. Now this piece is tough to find. The Chanel Boutiques tell us it is discontinued. Occasionally you can find one on ebay (We met a woman who bought one on ebay back in the summer of 2007). I love all the clothes that emily wears in this movie. Specifically, I have been looking for the coat that she is wearing when she calls andy on her first day of work, when she is ordering her to get coffee. Its brown tweed, with a shiny leather-like material along the shoulders and waist. If anyone has any idea, I would really appreciate it!

She has a skirt on with a top and jacket and boots. The top has ruffly bits at the front. I really love this outfit and want one like it???

We will keep looking and we have an email out to our contacts at Chanel to see if we can get the style name/number.
